The Clark Reopens!

The Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute reopened on July 4, 2014 after a much-anticipated museum expansion by a Pritzker Prize–winning architect, Tadao Ando. Ando designed a new wing for the Clark, which features additional stunning gallery spaces as well as an underground café, all illuminated by natural light from above. The building adds 11,000 square feet of new galleries and is composed of glass walls overseeing a three-tiered reflecting pool with striking views of the property’s rural surroundings.
